Private duty nurse RN – family-centered home care (PRN) Anaheim Hills, CA (home-based) · Orange County / Inland Empire · PRN · $40/hr DOE We are seeking a compassionate, experienced RN for PRN coverage providing one-on-one home care for a 24-year-old patient with complex medical needs. This is a PRN opportunity with a warm and supportive family environment, and the chance to build a meaningful nurse–patient relationship. Schedule SCHEDULE PRN – two assignments available: Assignment 1: Two weeks in July Assignment 2: Two weeks in August Saturday & Sunday Additional: Occasional overnight availability preferred Clinical Responsibilities Tracheostomy care and suctioning, including emergency airway management G-tube medication administration and feeding pump management DDAVP (vasopressin) subcutaneous injections twice daily Nebulizer treatments (Albuterol) Sodium and fluid balance monitoring via i-STAT/CHEM8+; accurate intake/output charting Full ADL support: personal care, hygiene, oral care, dressing, skin integrity, and incontinence care Safe transfers and lifting (patient ~105 lbs) Engagement activities: music, reading, light exercise, community outings Thorough documentation and communication with the broader care team Required Qualifications Active California RN license Demonstrated hands‑on experience with trach and G‑tube care Home health experience with ADLs, including personal and incontinence care Strong charting and documentation skills Ability to safely transfer and lift up to approximately 105 lbs Compassionate, patient, and family‑centered care philosophy Preferred Experience DDAVP injections, seizure management, and fluid balance protocols Young adult or pediatric complex care Comfort with i-STAT analyzer and pulse oximetry Current CPR/BLS certification Why This Role Warm, close‑knit family environment with genuine appreciation for your care Stable, predictable PRN weekend schedule Competitive pay at $40/hr (DOE) Full orientation and training on patient‑specific protocols Opportunity to make a meaningful, lasting difference in one patient's life #J-18808-Ljbffr
