Overview
Interventional Radiology Tech – Radiology specialty in Watertown, NY. This travel assignment starts 07/20/2026 and runs for 13 weeks with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift is 8x5 daytime. Placement is in a hospital-based interventional radiology setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide patient care under physician supervision with age-appropriate care across the lifespan.
- Assist the supervising physician with radiologic procedures and patient management; help maintain patient flow and coordinate the clinical workload.
- Perform fluoroscopic procedures, including barium studies (e.g., upper GI series, small bowel follow-through, enemas) and support imaging-guided interventions.
- Conduct interventional procedures such as joint injections under fluoroscopic or ultrasound guidance; perform paracentesis and thoracentesis with imaging guidance and post-procedure monitoring.
- Place abscess drains using ultrasound or CT guidance, ensuring sterile technique and accurate positioning; perform bone marrow biopsies and other ultrasound- or CT-guided biopsies as appropriate, following protocols to minimize complications.
- Maintain compliance with Medical Staff Bylaws, hospital policies, and regulatory standards; protect patient confidentiality and respond appropriately to emergencies.

Requirements
- Experience in or demonstrated ability to work within an interventional radiology setting; travel/interventional experience preferred.
- Proficiency in performing fluoroscopic procedures and imaging-guided interventions (e.g., injections, drainage, biopsies) as part of interventional radiology care.
- Ability to assess patients across the lifespan and deliver age-appropriate clinical care.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work within a team and maintain PHI confidentiality.
- Willingness to work a 40-hour week on a 8x5 daytime schedule; commitment to a 13-week assignment.
- Credentials/licensing per applicable state and facility policies (to be verified during hiring).
