Legal Assistant - General Liability

Overview Kelly Kronenberg’s New Jersey office is seeking a Legal Assistant to assist a growing General Liability team. The successful candidate must be reliable and detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills. We are looking for a Legal Assistant with strong litigation experience, preferably in General Liability defense. Salary: $60k - $80k Required Education and Experience 1–3 years of liability practice experience. Responsibilities Assist lawyers and paralegals with day‑to‑day tasks related to insurance defense litigation. Coordinate meetings, schedule appointments, answer and direct telephone calls, maintain and organize electronic case files, and update files with case status and information. Schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, conferences, and other events. Compile and organize documents, preparing binders and/or folders. Gather and organize records, documents, and other materials. Draft correspondence and minor motions/notices. Ensure service of subpoenas.
