The Medical Assistant role makes a difference in the patient care we offer and assists physicians and other clinicians by providing a unique blend of skills and knowledge to carry out prescribed medical treatment. Medical Assistants are multiskilled health professionals responsible for performing administrative and clinical tasks in our primary care facilities while delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining positive patient engagement.Location: CenterWell Senior Primary Care Soldier City office address: 5997 Goldenrod Road; Orlando, FL 32822The Medical Assistant performs clinical duties such as discussing symptoms and gathering and inputting information into the electronic medical records system. Collaborates closely with providers and administrative assistants. Decisions are typically focused on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction.
