Date: Jun 16, 2026 Location: Morrisville, NC, US, 27560 Functional Area: Hybrid Job Title SAP PP Solution Architect Job Summary The SAP PP Manufacturing Architect at Syntax will play a pivotal role in driving SAP solutions within the Life Sciences (Medical Devices; Pharma), Chemicals and General Manufacturing sectors. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills to oversee implementation projects, support business development activities, and ensure the integrity and integration of SAP solutions. The Architect will coordinate teams through all phases of system implementation and act as a trusted advisor, driving initiatives that enhance our market position and deliver exceptional value to our clients. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of SAP solutions tailored for the Life Sciences (Medical Devices; Pharma), Chemicals and General Manufacturing industries. Act as Integration Architect, directing teams of business analysts, functional consultants, and developers through all project phases including analysis, design, configuration, testing, and production cutover. Manage advisory consultants in the selection of appropriate solutions and tools, ensuring adherence to business scope and integration points. Support sales and presales activities by contributing to market strategies and client engagements. Identify opportunities for process improvements and integration within SAP landscapes, ensuring cost‑effective and scalable solutions. Facilitate workshops to address functional gaps and validate proposed solutions, supporting agile sprints and content validation. Develop business cases for investment in SAP solutions, presenting findings to decision‑making committees. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align business and architectural strategies while communicating risks and challenges effectively. Lead pre‑sales cycles, including customer presentations, proposal reviews, and site surveys to drive new business opportunities. Engage in continuous improvement and stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in Life Sciences, General Manufacturing and Chemicals. Required Qualifications A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering. At least 15 years of experience in SAP implementations, specifically within the Life Sciences (Medical Devices; Pharma), Chemicals and General Manufacturing. Strong expertise in SAP modules: PP, QM, MM, SD, and familiarity with Supply Chain, PM, and FICO. Proven track record in pre‑sales activities and project management. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both French and English. Preferred Qualifications Experience with S/4HANA and its application within the Manufacturing domain. Knowledge of best practices and trends in Life Sciences, General Manufacturing and Chemicals. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and drive results. Previous experience in client‑facing roles with a focus on building long‑term relationships. Education & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering. Relevant SAP certifications and training are a plus.
