Maintenance TechnicianHotel Covington and Salyers Group is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team to service our multi-property hotel, event center, and commercial real estate buildings.Principal responsibility is to handle routine maintenance, repairs and cleanliness of all properties and grounds. Primarily first shift.Skills and Knowledge:PaintingBasic PlumbingMinor ElectricalDrywallWood workingGood reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English languageStandards:Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, procedures and standardsAssist with responsibilities and duties in other departments and as assigned by managementDue to the cyclical nature of the business, may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needsConstantly recommend service and product improvement to better the operationAttend all required meetingsFollow proper payroll and uniform proceduresPhysical Demand:Continuous standing, bending, kneeling for entire shiftAbility to climb and work from laddersLifting, pushing, pulling, carrying required of up to 100lbsSubject to loud noise, vibration, hazards, atmospheric conditions and oilsQualifications:Must possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members while fostering a harmonious work environmentMust be able to work unsupervised and able to follow directionsMust be able to work weekends and on-call shiftsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentEnergetic and motivated personalityExcellent oral communication and listening skillsBe willing to work until the job is complete and perform other duties assignedPossess a valid drivers license
