As a Posting Specialist responsible for ensuring accurate and timely issuance and accounting of postage, as well as reconciling special job-related items, including dollar bill jobs. This role requires strong attention to detail and accountability to ensure all postage and related transactions are properly tracked and reconciled. The position works a regular nine-hour schedule with a one-hour lunch and may require extended hours as needed to meet operational demands and complete assigned responsibilities.

Your Impact:

• Enter stamp issues and receipts into spreadsheet trackers as well as the computer system (Monarch 2026)
• Postage specialist duties including:
• • All postage confirmations (3602s, UBM, UP, 3606s): print, save, and distribute.
  • Priority list tracking.  Mail confirmation reporting.
• Responsible for postage control, including tracking, ordering, and receiving stamps, coins, and meters while entering into the postage spreadsheet and Monarch. Also includes routine physical counting of stamp and coin inventories, weekly, monthly, and/or as needed, and reconciling to the general ledger.
• Responsible for issuing stamps to operators and the production manager, including counting stamps, boxing by job, getting the manager's check-off, and putting them in the cabinet.
• Track jobs, including stamp and meter boards and work orders, to ensure all jobs are issued.
• Responsible for putting money on meters and issuing to plant.
• Maintain postage spreadsheets daily, monthly, and/or as needed.
• Count/reconcile stamp and coin inventory daily, weekly, monthly or as needed.
• Save 3602’s, 3606’s, commingle confirmations, EPS, print & ships and any other POM - compares to spreadsheet for rates, quantities, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Profile:  

• Ability to adapt to new and different computer programs and software to enable efficient data gathering and analysis.
• Ability to research, compile, analyze, and interpret data.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to analyze and reconcile complex accounts and reserves.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Education and Experience:

• High school Diploma or GED.

Physical Requirements:  

• The employee will require the ability to move about the plant without limitations.
• The employee is required to communicate, express oneself and exchange information with others.
• The employee must have vision abilities sufficient to read work materials and computer data screens. 
• Physical demands require the ability to sit for long periods, bend, stoop, and grip.
