Job Opportunity – Medical ICU (MICU) Registered Nurse – Pennsylvania

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Schedule: Night shift, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM; Every other weekend (Friday/Saturday); 2:1 patient ratio; No call required; 13-week assignment

Highlights:

• Work in a fast-paced Level I Trauma Medical Intensive Care Unit caring for complex, critically ill patients
• Gain experience with advanced equipment including CVVHD, Swan Ganz catheters, and Level 1 rapid infusers
• Epic electronic charting system with 36 hours of comprehensive orientation
• 16-bed unit with interdisciplinary support including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• One winter holiday requirement (both eve and day); Time off requests must be submitted with application
• Float opportunities to ICU, intermediate, and telemetry units to expand clinical skills

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current Pennsylvania RN license or compact license
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Medical ICU experience required
• Experience with 2:1 patient ratios in critical care settings
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Epic charting experience strongly preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Valid professional references and certification documentation required at submission
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered); COVID-19 vaccine not required
