The Callaway County Road Bridge Department is accepting applications for a full-time Maintenance Worker I / CDL Driver position.
Callaway County Road Bridge is located at 5901 County Road 302 in Fulton, MO 65251. The normal hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm. However, emergency situations, such as inclement weather, may require employees to perform outside of normal working hours.
The starting salary range for this position is $32,000 – $33,280 annually ($15.38 – $16.00 per hour) with a full benefits package, including free health insurance, two retirement programs, paid vacation/sick/holiday leave, free life insurance, and more.

Responsibilities
The job duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Operating a single axle or tandem axle dump truck.
- Operating small to large sized motor vehicles and a variety of equipment to haul materials and support construction, repair, maintenance, and replacement of County roads.
- Performing snow removal activities.
- Mowing along County roads.
- Assisting with loading, securing, and unloading materials and equipment.
- Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment; referring defects or repairs to supervisor.
- Receiving special assignments from Road Bridge Foreman.
- Other duties, as needed.
Requirements
- Applicant must possess a valid Class B CDL with Air Brake endorsement.
- Applicant must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Applicant must be authorized to drive a commercial vehicle by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).
