Responsibilities:

• Create a fun, engaging, and positive learning environment where curiosity is encouraged.
• Guide a kindergarten student through daily lessons using a provided homeschool curriculum.
• Make learning come alive through hands-on activities, games, crafts, reading, and exploration.
• Encourage confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
• Adapt lessons to match the student's interests, strengths, and learning style.
• Support academic growth in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.
• Celebrate milestones and help make learning a positive experience each day.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding progress, successes, and any areas needing additional support.
• Foster kindness, creativity, and a growth mindset throughout the school day.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field preferred.
• Teaching credential and/or experience in early childhood or elementary education preferred.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with homeschool, private education, or individualized instruction is a plus.

Hours

• Monday-Friday (9 AM-12:30 PM)
