Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating 12 hours Day/Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of recent Labor Delivery / OB experience License: Active RN license in New Hampshire Certifications: Current BLS, AWHONN, and NRP certifications Must-Have: - Proficient experience from patient check-in to pre/post care to discharge - Fetal Monitoring Experience - Previous travel experience (highly preferred) Description: Demonstrates clinical competence by utilizing the nursing process. The RN must assess and identify patient problems and needs. Establish a plan of care, implement interventions, and evaluate and revise the patient plan of care based on patient progress. The unit can manage high-risk pregnancy management, including conditions such as preterm labor, high blood pressure, diabetes, and VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean Section). Responsibilities also include performing prenatal testing and amniocentesis, as well as providing childbirth education classes. Permanent address must be included in the submission file. RTO must be included in the submission, limited to 5 days.
