Position: HR Admin
Pay: $21/hour
Shift: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Mon-Fri
Location: Joliet, IL
- Create and post internal job openings; set up associated files
- Review candidates and advise managers of interested applicants
- Handle pre-employment drug tests and background checks
- Conduct reference checks on new hires
- Monitor completion of new hire paperwork
- Maintain logs for hires, terminations, transfers, and demotions
- Conduct new hire orientations
- Audit payroll and resolve related issues
- Sort and distribute employee checks
- Assist with HR issues and attendance tracking
- High School Diploma or GED required
- PHR Certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years administrative office experience
- Prior HR experience is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- HR fundamentals
- Administrative procedures
- Recruitment and onboarding processes
- Compliance and record keeping
- Payroll auditing
