About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Outpatient Clinic Hematology Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:30 - 18:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: BLS, Chemotherapy certification, OCN preferred Must-Have: EPIC charting experience required, Charge experience preferred Description: Work hours consist of 10-hour shifts from 07:30 to 18:00. Rotating day off between Monday and Wednesday. Locals are allowed at the same rate. Candidates must have EPIC charting experience. Previous charge experience is preferred. Knowledge of accessing and managing ports is essential. Must be skilled in the administration of chemotherapy and monitoring its effects. Experience with various cancer types and their treatments is required. Skills in phlebotomy and wound care are necessary. Candidates should be familiar with alteration in skin and mucous membranes and management of side effects. Ability to recognize and communicate abnormal lab values is crucial. Candidates should be able to float within the scope if needed. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred. All applicants must have appropriate documentation and clear background checks. Candidates should plan their start dates accordingly to avoid delays in commencing employment. Compliance with facility policies is mandatory.
