Job Details Location: San Antonio, Texas Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Assignment Length: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 - $1,540 Documentation System: Meditech Work Environment: High-acuity critical care with floating as needed within the system Job Requirements Active Texas RN license required; temporary license is not accepted 2 years of ICU nursing or critical care experience required 2 years of hospital or travel nursing experience required BLS and ACLS certifications required Ability to work every other weekend Comfortable floating to other ICU areas as needed based on census and staffing needs Meditech experience preferred Experience with CRRT (Prismaflex) and Rotoprone preferred Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based care to critically ill patients in the ICU Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in condition Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal outcomes Perform and assist with ICU procedures such as central lines, bronchoscopy support, and bedside trachs as assigned Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Meditech Support infection prevention, patient safety, and unit standards Float to other ICU areas when needed to support patient care across the system Apply now to join this San Antonio ICU travel nurse opportunity and take the next step in your critical care nursing career.
