Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiovascular Operating Room – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: June 29, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: 4x10 hour day shifts (06:00 - 16:30); call required

Highlights:

• Cardiovascular operating room circulating RN position with 2 operating rooms
• 13-week travel assignment in East Texas
• Scrubbing ability preferred but not required
• Unit welcomes first-time travelers
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Up to two pre-approved time-off periods available

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Texas or Compact license required prior to submission)
• 2+ years of nursing experience
• 1-3 years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CNOR certification preferred but not required
• Experience with coronary artery bypass graft, cardiovascular procedures, electrosurgical units, and related equipment
• Competency in IV starts, specimen handling, urinary catheterization, and code response
• Cannot reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
