Description
  • Diligently evaluate patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations through structured assessments and observational techniques.
  • Craft tailored treatment plans aimed at achieving both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
  • Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions focusing on language, fluency, voice, and swallowing interventions.
  • Engage collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to formulate comprehensive care strategies.
  • Facilitate patient and family education to encourage progress beyond appointment times.
  • Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care during treatment.
  • Maintain meticulous and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
  • Keep abreast of advancements in speech-language pathology through ongoing education and collaboration among peers.
Education
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified.
Certifications
  • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hiring.

  • Expertise in implementing evidence-based treatment modalities for diverse age groups, with a deep understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing conditions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.
