Lab Associate II
Join our team as a Lab Associate II, where you will be an integral part of our laboratory operations. We are seeking dedicated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are eager to contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality laboratory services.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
- Willingness to work with and handle blood, urine, fecals, and biopsies.
- Ability to sit/stand/move for long periods during the shift.
- Reliable commuting capability to the lab location for scheduled shifts.
- Prior work experience at IDEXX or in IDEXX's industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in a high-volume lab environment such as LabCorp, Quest, or a large hospital.
- Background in Vet Tech or Vet Assisting, especially if combined with fulfillment or food service experience.
- Recent Biology degree with a fast-paced work history.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Check in couriers and manage sample intake processes.
- Unbag, barcode, and move samples around the lab efficiently.
- Load samples into analyzers and centrifuges, and perform sample preparation tasks.
- Maintain sample integrity by managing refrigerated storage and handling with care.
