Senior Accountant – Multi-Entity - Cumming, GAThe Senior Accountant supports accounting functions across multiple entities, properties, and operating structures. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this role maintains general ledger integrity, supports development and capital accounting, prepares reconciliations, and ensures accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate has experience in multi-property or real estate-related environments and is comfortable managing complex intercompany activity in a fast-paced setting.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post monthly journal entries, accruals, and adjustmentsMaintain general ledger accuracy across operating, development, and investment entitiesAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processesPrepare balance sheet and bank reconciliations and resolve variancesSupport preparation of financial statements for management and capital entitiesRecord and reconcile intercompany transactions, allocations, and eliminationsSupport development accounting, capital expenditures, and fixed assetsPartner with operations leadership to ensure accurate expense codingAssist with audit, tax, and compliance requestsEnsure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controlsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required4–7 years of progressive accounting experienceExperience in senior living, healthcare, real estate, hospitality, or multi-property environments strongly preferredExposure to development accounting and property-level P&Ls preferredStrong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accountingAdvanced Excel skillsExperience with accounting systems, specifically YardiExperience supporting audits and working with external partnersCPA or CPA-track a plusBenefitsCompetitive compensationExposure to real estate, development, and investment accountingGrowth within a multi-entity platformCollaborative leadership environment
