Experienced Bookkeeper QuickBooks AR AP Needed

Job Description Job Description Location: New Braunfels, TX Job Type: Full-Time (Monday- Friday, 8am-5pm) Position Summary We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in New Braunfels, Texas. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional bookkeeping experience , including 5 years of hands-on Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) experience . Strong QuickBooks experience is required. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing AR and AP, reconciling accounts, processing invoices and payments, and supporting the company's day-to-day accounting operations. Key Responsibilities Manage daily bookkeeping and accounting activities using QuickBooks . Maintain accurate financial records and account balances. Handle the full Accounts Receivable (AR) process, including customer invoicing, payments, account reconciliation, and follow-up on outstanding balances. Handle the full Accounts Payable (AP) process, including vendor invoices, payment processing, and vendor account reconciliation. Enter and categorize financial transactions accurately in QuickBooks. Perform monthly bank, credit card, AR, and AP reconciliations. Review financial transactions for accuracy and completeness. Prepare and send customer invoices. Monitor outstanding receivables and assist with collections. Review and process vendor invoices and payments. Maintain accurate customer and vendor records. Assist with monthly and year-end closing procedures. Prepare financial reports and accounting summaries for management. Research and resolve discrepancies in accounts. Maintain organized financial documentation and records. Assist with payroll, tax preparation, audits, and other accounting projects as needed. Maintain strict confidentiality of financial and company information. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of professional bookkeeping experience. Minimum 5 years of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable experience. Minimum 5 years of hands-on QuickBooks experience. Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles. Experience with bank and account reconciliations. Strong knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally. Preferred Qualifications Experience with QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop . Experience with full-cycle bookkeeping. Experience with general ledger and month-end close. Payroll experience. Accounting degree, bookkeeping certification, or relevant college coursework. Experience working in a small- to mid-sized business.
