Shift Details: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM, 3 shifts per week, scheduled hours of 36.

Job Order Details: Start date 08/17/2026, end date 11/16/2026, duration of 13 weeks.

Unit Information: ICU at HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge, located at 9191 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229, floors 1 & 2. The unit has 28 beds, with Pod A consisting of 12 beds and Pod B on the second floor containing 16 beds.

Number of Staff: 42, with day shift having 1 charge nurse and varying number of nurses based on census/acuity, and night shift also having 1 charge nurse and varying number of nurses based on census/acuity. Critical care techs are staffed 6 days a week from 0900-2100.

Patient Ratios: Typically 1:2, can be 1:1 or 1:3 depending on acuity.

Type of equipment: Pyxis, Plum Pump IVs, GE bedside monitors, Nelcor, Artic Sun, Sub Zero EMR - Meditech.

Typical hiring profile: Must have minimum of 1 year current acute care hospital ICU experience, BLS, ACLS & NIH. Preferred or nice to have: TNCC, Meditech experience.

List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Neuro surgical, Trauma (level III, going to level II this year), cardiac arrest, resp arrest, ETOH/Drug WD, all vented patients come to the ICU at our facility.

Additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: Variety of nursing staff in terms of years of experience, some have been here 20+ years. We just opened our new 12 bed ICU expansion to allow us to care for 28 ICU patients. Will undergo level II trauma survey this year. Our Intensivists are 24/7 and are the best doctors I have worked with in my 18 year of nursing. They are patient, willing to teach and respectful of our staff.
