CustodianWindsor Park Estates - Copley, OHOverviewLevel: Experienced Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Day Education Level: High School Travel Percentage: None Category: Real EstateResponsibilities and RequirementsPosition SummaryThe Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of Windsor Park Estates, including all building exteriors, common areas, and amenities.Essential Job FunctionsResponsible for cleaning of common areas, the leasing office, and model/mini model interiorsPerforms daily exterior grounds cleanup, including trash pick-up and the emptying of trash cans in common areasNotifies the Property Manager of concerns regarding possible major repairs of lighting, heating, and ventilating equipmentShampoos carpets, cleans parking areas, and clears snow and debris from sidewalks/parking areasCleans and replaces air conditioner filters as neededReplaces light bulbs as neededMaintains inventory of cleaning supplies and advises the team on when to reorderAssumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as requiredRequired QualificationsEducation, Training and or/ ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) with relevant custodial experience.Knowledge, Skills, and Personal CharacteristicsKnowledgeable and skilled in the safe use of cleaning materials, equipment, and toolsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in order to meet deadlinesStrong attention to detailAbility to communicate with staff members, tenants, and vendorsDisplays a positive, friendly, and professional attitude with a strong focus on customer serviceAbility to work individually and as a part of a cohesive teamPhysical DemandsThe nature of work requires an ability to communicate and exchange information and operate general cleaning materials, equipment, and tools. Requires the ability to be on one's feet for extended periods of time, to bend, kneel, and reach in order to maintain surfaces of all heights and sizes, as well as an ability to lift and move materials or equipment up to 50 pounds. Requires frequent exposure to cleaning products.Working ConditionsWork is performed in a general office environment and apartment community.
