Job Description: Maryland Environmental Service has openings for Laborers at our Talbot County Transfer Station in Easton, MD and our Midshore II Regional Landfill in Ridgely, MD. This position provides general maintenance support for operations and construction activities at the assigned facility. Estimated Pay Range: $39,351.31 - $54,106.09 Benefits: Health Insurance with choice of medical plan and prescription, dental, vision, and life and disability insurance options, along with flexible spending accounts 401K retirement savings program with generous agency match Paid vacation, personal and sick leave Eleven paid holidays per year Tuition assistance Minimum Requirements: Completion of 8th grade plus one year of warehouse, production, building maintenance, janitorial, or other general work experience OR graduation from a standard high school or possession of a state high school equivalency certificate. May require a valid driver's license with less than 5 points. No prior experience necessary. This position will be open until filled. This position is eligible for on-spot, contingent offers.
