Open Job: Cytotechnologist (Gynecologic And Non-Gynecologic)Location: One job in Baltimore and one job in Westminster Maryland Salary: $71,094 to $106,641Responsibilities:Examine and interpret gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology specimens accurately and efficiently, following established laboratory procedures.Issue final diagnoses for negative GYN cytology cases; submit all non-GYN results for pathologist review and final report release.Verify specimen acceptability and patient identification throughout all processing stages.Maintain quality control (QC), proficiency testing, and CLIA/DHMH compliance documentation in a timely and organized manner.Assist with fine needle aspiration (FNA) procedures—prepare and stain slides for evaluation.Accurately input test requests and results into Cerner while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.Proactively expand your technical knowledge and participate in continuing education.Communicate effectively and courteously with pathologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, contributing to a collaborative lab culture.Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Medical Technology, or related field.Experience: 1–3 years of cytology or related clinical laboratory experience.Certification: Cytologist (ASCP or equivalent).If you are interested in pursuing this opportunity, please respond back and include the following:MS WORD ResumeRequired compensation.Contact information.AvailabilityUpon receipt, one of our managers will contact you to discuss the position in full detail.Jason Denmark Recruiting Manager Intermedia Group, Inc.
