Responsibilities include patient rooming, administering allergy injections, biologics, and vaccines; performing skin, patch, drug, and venom testing; assisting with drug challenges and desensitization procedures; conducting spirometry testing; and supporting overall clinic workflow. This full-time position offers an excellent work-life balance with a Monday–Friday schedule (7:45 a.m.–4:30 p.m.) and no weekends, holidays, nights, or on-call requirements.# **Job Description****Primary Duties & Responsibilities:*** Utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating a plan of patient care.* Provides patient care, which may include administering medication, performing procedures and monitoring patient status in accordance with approved nursing practice.* Provides appropriate counsel and education to patients/families regarding disease process and symptom management.* Maintains medical records requiring appropriate and timely recording of patient information.* Consults with members of the health care team, adjusting nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.* Assists the health care provider with examinations, procedures, prescription refills and other processes related to direct patient care.* Maintains required skills and competencies and participates in educational programs, staff meetings and in services such as CPR as required.* Performs other duties as assigned. **Working Conditions:** Job Location/Working Conditions* Normal office environment* Exposure to blood-borne pathogens* Requires protective devices* Patient care setting* Direct patient care settingPhysical Effort* Typically sitting at desk or table* Repetitive wrist, hand or finger movement* Occasional lifting (25 lbs. or less)Equipment* Office equipment* Clinical/diagnostic equipmentThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to this classification.
