MATKO | Korean Fast-Casual Restaurant
Location: 1355 Market Street, San Francisco, CA
Pay: $20/hour + tips
Schedule: [Full-Time / Part-Time]

Matko is a family-owned Korean fast-casual restaurant bringing the comfort and flavors of authentic Korean home cooking to San Francisco. We take pride in serving delicious food with warmth, care, and efficiency.
We're looking for a reliable, friendly, and hardworking Restaurant Team Member to join our team!
What You'll Do
As a team member, you'll be involved in all aspects of our daily restaurant operations, including:
● Food Preparation: Prepare rice, heat and portion prepared ingredients, assemble Korean bowls, and follow simple food preparation procedures.
● Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, answer menu questions, and provide friendly, efficient service.
● Cashier & POS: Process orders and payments accurately using our POS system.
● Opening & Closing: Set up food stations, prepare ingredients, restock supplies, clean equipment, and complete daily opening and closing tasks.
● Cleanliness & Food Safety: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow food safety and sanitation standards.
● Teamwork: Help wherever needed to keep daily operations running smoothly, especially during busy service hours.
What We're Looking For
● Previous restaurant or food & beverage experience preferred, especially in fast-casual or quick-service restaurants.
● Comfortable handling both food preparation and customer service.
● Friendly, positive attitude and strong communication skills.
● Reliable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented.
● Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
● Willing to learn and take initiative.
● Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team.
● California Food Handler Card required within the applicable legal timeframe.
No professional cooking experience required! Our food preparation is straightforward, and we provide training.
