About the Position

Job Title: RN Surgery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 AM - 05:00 PM Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS Must-Have: Previous Epic Experience required Description: Delivers care to patients intra-operatively utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Delivers care to patients intra-operatively in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with surgical patients and health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Primary duties include but are not limited to circulating procedures, instrumentation of procedures, and assisting surgeons and/or anesthesia providers. Provides high-quality care to surgical patient populations, including patients of any age undergoing surgical procedures in various specialties. Clinical care activities and nursing services include circulating, instrumenting, first assisting, patient education, and serving as a resource nurse. Call requirements are approximately 70-80 hours in a 4-week period with a response time of 30 minutes.
