Our company is looking for a Direct Care Worker to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Companionship – Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging and assisting an individual;
• Immediately reports emergency situations by phone to supervisor or office;
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting;
• Preparing meals and special diets;
• Follows assignments and regulations;
• Provide compassionate companionship to patients;
• Communicates with the designated supervisor;
• Document each visit per Agency policy;
• Performing general housekeeping activities;
• Wears appropriate clothing and ID badge when at work;
• Works within the organizations channel of authority;
• Follows the service plan as written;
• Other duties as assigned;
• Use policy manuals as guidelines for service.

Requirements:

• Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for (sometimes) a long period of time;
• Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report;
• High school diploma preferred;
• At least 2 years experience in the home care field (agency, hospital, community);
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time;
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time. Experience with hoyer lift;
• At least 2 years experience in the homecare field (agency, hospital, community).
• Proof of vaccination

AR Group Care is an Assisted living facility for seniors and seniors with Dementia in a residential comfort-home setting. We provide companionship, Adult day services and assistance with daily living activities 24 hrs a day 7 days a week.
