CT Technologist

Role: Responsible for obtaining high-quality CT images, following established protocols, and adjusting as needed. Ensures radiation safety for patients and staff by adhering to safety guidelines and using PPE. Performs computer operations, verifies orders, and ensures accurate charge entry. Provides professional and courteous patient care, prepares examination rooms, monitors supplies, and maintains cleanliness. Assists radiologists with administering medications, contrast agents, biopsies, and other patient care activities. Reviews exams for technical accuracy and verifies images in PACS. Supports PACS cleanup and maintains patient confidentiality per HIPAA. Completes ongoing educational requirements. Qualifications & Skills: Must obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days. Requires ARRT-Registered Radiographer and ARRT-CT certification (within 6 months of hire). Strong technical skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and adherence to safety protocols are essential. #J-18808-Ljbffr
