Wellness Retail Associate

Core Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assists and educates customers on Life Extension's unique, cutting-edge formulas and answers health related questions
• Thoroughly reads all Life Extension literature to ensure product knowledge is up to date; achieve an 80% or better on monthly magazines quiz
• Operates cash register
• Performs cycle counts as needed
• Retrieves products and prepares for mail order shipments; replenishes shelves with inventory, block and face store shelves
• Answers incoming and inter-departmental phone calls
• Receives and process customer returns
• Participates in annual physical store inventory
• Performs opening/closing duties as directed according to SOPs and checklists
• Shares ideas, information and experiences that will benefit the Nutrition Center and/or company
• Displays flexibility within the department; willing to make necessary schedule changes based on departmental needs
• Regular onsite attendance is an essential function of this position
• Additional duties as assigned


Position Requirements:
• Intermediate knowledge of vitamins and dietary supplements required; 1+ years of experience in retail environment preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Alternative Medicine or related field preferred
• Strong customer service mentality
• Ability to stand up to 95% of the time; ability to lift 10 pounds; must be able to bend, stoop, kneel and reach overhead on a regular basis
