Job Details Job Title: Manufacturing Technician Location: Grand Rapids, MI Employment Type: Temp (12+ Months) Industry: Manufacturing Compensation: $33.5 - $47 / hour Schedule: 9/80 About the Opportunity Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro‑mechanical assembly operations, which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment. Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms, and documents. Determines and follows methods and sequences of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units. Responsibilities Assemble electronic sub‑assemblies and final assemblies. Read and understand engineering drawings and manufacturing work instructions. Perform all product build processes and work on any product directed by management to meet business needs. Execute manual and automated underfill, bonding, and staking. Apply touch‑up and conformal/Parylene coating. Participate in and engage with team meetings. Use Windows‑based programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 8years of electronics manufacturing experience or 4years with an associate’s or similar 2‑year degree and experience with IPCA610 and JSTD001. Additional Qualifications Associate Degree. General knowledge of Lean or demand‑flow manufacturing practices. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with team members. Close attention to detail and quality. Ability to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced work environment. Demonstrated problem‑solving techniques.
