NOC Engineer

Overview: Role: Junior or Mid Level NOC Engineer Location: Louisville, KY or Austin, TX (Onsite) Start Date: Immediate Job Type: Contract Responsibilities:
- Monitor network and service platforms in real time.
- Detect and triage alarms, perform initial troubleshooting.
- Support incident escalation and service restoration.
- Document issues and maintain SLA compliance.
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of routing, switching, broadband, voice, video, Wi-Fi, and mobile services.
- Familiarity with incident management tools and processes.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- NOC Engineer: 5 years (Preferred)
- 24x7 Network Operations Center environment and supports: 1 year (Preferred)
- real-time monitoring, incident detection: 5 years (Preferred)
- alarm triage, initial troubleshooting: 5 years (Preferred)
- service restoration support across cable: 1 year (Preferred)
- broadband, IP, voice, video, Wi-Fi: 1 year (Preferred)
- mobile, and enterprise service platform: 1 year (Preferred)
- CMTS, HFC, DOCSIS, security, and load balancing issues: 1 year (Preferred)
- Follow SOPs, runbooks, incident workflows: 1 year (Preferred)
- ITIL-aligned practices: 1 year (Preferred)
- supports network availability, service stability: 1 year (Preferred)
- SLA compliance, incident escalation, and timely resolution: 1 year (Preferred)
