Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description We are seeking a passionate, well‑rounded, data specialist to support a prominent healthcare program and State‑based Exchange oversight team as a Quality Assurance Specialist. This candidate is highly skilled with Microsoft technologies including SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI. The ideal candidate will demonstrate creativity through data visualizations, communication with the customer, strong organization and testing skills, and the ability to independently identify, document, and research a problem or tell a story using data. The successful candidate is expected to be a self‑starter, work independently with limited guidance, and collaborate on design efforts. You will work closely with project coordinators and business analysts as well as SharePoint developers to support health IT initiatives based on business needs, innovation, and requirements. Our customer is migrating from SharePoint on premises to SharePoint online. With heavy customization that doesn’t “copy and paste” over, we need new ideas and support to test user friendly solutions that impact multiple workstreams. Work alongside existing developers and testers to create something that will delight our stakeholders and to make sure that content migrated and works according to requirements. Key Responsibilities Analyze, validate, and report on data from State‑based Exchanges. Test SharePoint, Power Apps, Power BI, and Tableau efforts prior to formal deployment. Maintain data repositories and reporting tools (for example, within SharePoint). Contribute to data consolidation efforts. Compile supplementary reports for key stakeholders. Think critically and adapt to unpredictable reporting requests with quick turnaround times. Contribute to SOPs and user guides. Interact with internal and external customers. Create SharePoint user stories. Create SharePoint test plans and procedures. Use a wide application of principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to develop innovative solutions to problems. Provide expert advice, assistance, or guidance in support of technical programs and projects. Apply expert knowledge to gather facts, research and analyze the data, and develop conclusions and recommendations. Design, develop, test, and support SharePoint analysis and reporting solutions. Work closely with internal and external customers to understand their analytics needs and identify KPIs and data to track. Support the customer with ad hoc requests by pulling relevant information using from SharePoint or existing files etc. Monitor consistency of customer data and work with appropriate teams to fix data issues. Gather and document requirements. Contribute to an organized repository of project information and data on the project and customer SharePoint sites. Contribute to process improvement solutions and work proactively. Contribute to the execution of project or task plan and help assess the impact of industry trends, policy or standard methodologies. Conduct activities in support of the project team’s objectives. Work closely with Task Leads. Required minimum qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree. Possesses knowledge in computer science or similar field or discipline. At least five years of prior work experience. Highly Proficient Microsoft Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote. Expert Excel skills (including macros, formulae). Must have strong analytical skills. Must have excellent problem‑solving and critical thinking skill set. Solid quantitative skills with databases and spreadsheets. Must have experience with Tableau functionality and reporting. Residency Requirement: shall have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years. Must be a U.S. citizen. Candidates that do not meet the required qualifications will not be considered. Preferred qualifications Health and Human Services experience. State‑based or Federally Facilitated Health Insurance Exchange experience. Requirements analysis. Customer relationship management experience is a plus. Wireframe UI/UX experience. Compensation Ranges Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract‑specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline based on these factors and is unique to each role. Monetary compensation is one component of ASM’s overall compensation and benefits package for employees.
