Full-Time Privately Owned Nashville office

Our office has been in the community 50 years and has a great reputation. The office fosters a positive and supportive team culture and is patient centered for optimal dental care. Our office is seeking new space to accommodate patient growth. Onboarding manuals and videos are available to quickly orient new team members.
Currently, the office has two dedicated hygiene operatories that each have TV, ambidextrous Adec chairs, Cavitron, and digital x-rays. Cone Beam CT and digital scanner is available with all digital forms and workflow accessible in each operatory. Our office strives for an efficient work flow with a relaxed fun vibe. We are looking to add a great new team member!

Pay

$38~$48 per hour

Salary Details
- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
- Commission-Based Incentives: Earn a percentage of the revenue generated from specific procedures, such as teeth cleanings, fluoride treatments, and periodontal therapy.

Job Description

Primary Goals:
-Review patient health and dental history forms and update as necessary.
-Accurately chart each patient’s periodontal health.
-Perform thorough and gentle prophylaxis for patients.
-Perform scaling, root planing and selective polishing for patients as appropriate.
-Administer local anesthetics as licensed and allowed by state laws.
-Place medicaments sub-gingivally for periodontal disease treatment.
-Take radiographs of patients as prescribed by the dentist.
-Communicate with patients in an understandable and professional way.
-Teach and educate proper oral hygiene techniques to patients.
-Perform other tasks as assigned by the dentist.
-Maintain cleanliness and effective sanitization in the treatment area.
-Perform sterilization as indicated on instrumentation.
-Maintain office records in adherence with office policies and HIPAA regulations.
-Be an active participant in office meetings and strive to work well with other team members.
-Maintain good interpersonal skills for good rapport with patients, dentist, and team members.

Shift & Schedule

- Work Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8 AM - 5 PM; Wednesday: 8-4
- Breaks: 60-minute meal break (not counted as work hours).
- No Weekends
