Through our Individual Placement & Support (IPS) model, we help adults with mental health, physical, and cognitive disabilities achieve meaningful employment and greater independence. As an Employment Specialist, you'll work one-on-one with individuals to identify career goals, overcome barriers, develop job skills, secure employment opportunities, and maintain long-term success in the workforce. Pay & Benefits Package $18/hr Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer match 403(b) Retirement Plan with employer match Tuition Assistance Program Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Eligible Employer Generous Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays Company-Issued iPhone and Laptop Mileage Reimbursement Ongoing Professional Development Opportunities Meaningful, mission-driven work that changes lives Job Qualifications High School Diploma or GED, bachelors preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Reliable transportation for community-based services Strong organizational, time management, and follow-up skills Ability to build relationships with individuals, employers, and community partners Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Job Responsibilities Conduct intake assessments to identify participants' interests, skills, strengths, work history, educational background, and employment goals Develop and implement individualized Vocational Service Plans Provide job development, placement, coaching, and retention services Conduct community-based vocational and work assessments Support participants throughout the employment process, helping them overcome barriers and achieve success Facilitate job-seeking, career readiness, and social skills groups Coordinate services with family members, advocates, treatment providers, schools, and community supports Build and maintain relationships with local employers and community partners Serve as a liaison between consumers, employers, funding sources, and program leadership Lead live and virtual vocational training sessions using Microsoft Teams and established curriculum Maintain accurate case records and complete required documentation within established timelines Participate in biweekly therapy meetings and weekly ACT team meetings Assist individuals in community settings as needed Contribute to IPS Fidelity standards and ensure compliance with OHMAS requirements Maintain a positive, collaborative team environment Adhere to all agency policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements Perform other duties as assigned Work Environment: The WPA program is a community-based services program that are headquartered in an office environment. Must be able to provide community-based by operating their own vehicle. Exposed to a combination of office, school and mental health treatment environments. Exposed to children with behavior problems. May be exposed to shouting and children who are upset.
