Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse position available in a healthcare facility offering comprehensive obstetric care services. Job Details

• Position: Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse
• Location: Lower Keys area
• Schedule: Days shift (7 a.m. - 7 p.m.), 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS – Basic Life Support certification, ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification, NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification, AWHONN – Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses preferred, with the ability to procure within 30 days if necessary. Minimum of 2 years of prior travel experience in obstetric/postpartum, nursery, or Mother/Baby units.
• Responsibilities: Responsible for providing comprehensive obstetric and neonatal care, demonstrating critical thinking and scientific judgment, supervising designated staff, and maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education. May be required to float to other units as facility needs dictate.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and preferred AWHONN certification.
• Schedule Details: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates should be prepared to start ASAP for a 13-week assignment, with possibility of extension.
• Additional Information: Federal and state compliance requirements including AHCA for Florida placements. Ability to work flexibly across units as needed.
