We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Welder/Helper to join our team in a fast-paced fabrication facility. This critical role provides essential support to our lead welders, ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency by preparing workstations, handling equipment, and managing post-weld cleanup. The ideal candidate is eager to contribute to a productive work environment and willing to take on a variety of tasks.

Welder/Helper Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $16.00 to $18.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• First Shift ( Monday through Saturday from 06:00am to 04:30pm )

• Prepare and organize welding workstations, including gathering tools, materials, and safety equipment.
• Assist lead welders with the setup, operation, and maintenance of welding equipment.
• Perform post-weld cleanup duties such as grinding, deburring, and material handling.
• Ensure the overall cleanliness and orderliness of the facility, including performing janitorial duties like mowing and cleaning restrooms.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
• Store personal cellphones securely in a personal vehicle or company-provided locker during all working hours.

Welder/Helper Qualifications:

• Shifts are Monday through Saturday, from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (10-hour shifts).
• Overtime will be required on Saturdays as dictated by business needs.
• Capable of lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Proven experience or demonstrated aptitude as a Welding Helper or similar industrial support role.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to perform a variety of manual labor tasks, including facility maintenance and janitorial duties.
• Basic understanding of various welding processes (e.g., MIG, Stick/Wire, TIG).
• Experience working with steel fabrication.
