Pharmacist Coordinator A Weinberg Oncology

Job Overview The Pharmacist Coordinator A will review, assess, and verify complex medication orders (including chemotherapy), complete therapeutic drug monitoring (e.g., vancomycin, methotrexate, anticoagulation), and collaborate with the Oncology Pharmacy Clinical Specialists and interdisciplinary team. They will also provide oversight of the complex oncology pharmacy operations that supports 100 inpatient beds, ambulatory bone marrow transplant patients, and 3 ambulatory infusion clinics. Responsibilities Review, assess, and verify complex medication orders (including chemotherapy). Complete therapeutic drug monitoring (e.g., vancomycin, methotrexate, anticoagulation). Collaborate with Oncology Pharmacy Clinical Specialists and the interdisciplinary team. Provide oversight of complex oncology pharmacy operations supporting 100 inpatient beds, ambulatory BMT patients, and 3 ambulatory infusion clinics. Serve as preceptor for pharmacy students and residents in ASHP accredited PGY‑1 & PGY‑2 programs. Participate in longitudinal operational projects and support drug research. Qualifications Current licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Maryland. Hospital and departmental education requirements completed within 90 days of hire. ACLS and/or PALS certification is desired. Previous health‑system experience with responsibility for the supervision of pharmacy personnel is desired. Salary Range Minimum $51.79 /hour – Maximum $85.52 /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
