This internship offers the opportunity to gain practical engineering experience while supporting transmission line field crews. Responsibilities include assisting with material planning and procurement, supporting maintenance initiatives, and contributing to engineering solutions for transmission line repairs and emergency response activities. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Foundational knowledge of engineering principles, concepts, and methodologies. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills, including technical documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and engineering-related software tools. Ability to interpret technical information, standards, and engineering practices. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and build positive working relationships. Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver equipment and perform work requiring standing, bending, kneeling, crouching, or working in confined spaces as needed. Ability to work in both office and field environments while adhering to established safety procedures. Education Requirements

Must be working towards an ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree from a 4 year college or university. Must have a graduation date of Spring 2028 or later. Must have a GPA of 2.5 or above. Working Conditions
