Job Title
Pay: $18-$24 Per Hour
Duties
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS or similar systems.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash register operations.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food handling safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including bussing tables and cleaning surfaces.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food presentation.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and sales techniques.
- Experience with POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- A passion for culinary arts or experience in grocery store settings is advantageous.
