JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Pediatrics Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Vancouver, WA Service Setting: Outpatient Ambulatory / Community Health Center Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Aug 10, 2026 Nov 09, 2026 Clinical Shift Schedule: Mon Fri, 8a 5p (8-hour shifts with 1-hour unpaid lunch) Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered (Flight, rental car or mileage, and lodging) PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Newborns Age 18 Patient Volume/Census: Up to 21 patients/day Case Mix: Community Health Center, vulnerable populations, migrants, refugees FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Credentialing Timeline: 2-3 weeks JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active WA license required Board: BC/BE in Pediatrics DEA: Active WA DEA required Certifications: BLS, ACLS (to be discussed/determined during credentialing) Experience: Clean background, experienced with Epic Other Qualifications: COVID and Flu vaccination required DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide comprehensive pediatric care for patients from newborns to age 18 in an outpatient community health center setting. Manage a high-volume patient schedule, seeing up to 21 patients per day in a fast-paced environment. Utilize Epic EMR for all clinical documentation and patient charting. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team including medical assistants, mental health therapists, and dietitians. Deliver culturally competent care to a diverse patient population, including migrants and refugees.
