Customer Account Representative

Wayne Shoemaker - State Farm Agency, located in Prince Frederick, MD has an immediate opening for a full-time Customer Account Representative - Sales-Oriented Team Member. Insurance experience is not required as we will train the right person.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Primary focus: new business, cross-selling, Life opportunities, follow-up, and agency growth.
• Expected to contribute to Agency production and growth goals.
• Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and close sales
• Establish client relationships and follow up with clients, as needed
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly client support
• Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day

Requirements:

• Property & Casualty license (must be able to obtain within 60 days)
• Life & Health license (must be able to obtain within 60 days)
• Minimum of three years of professional work experience required.
• Customer-focused, proactive, organized, and comfortable with sales goals.
• Must complete CareerPlug MV and SL assessments.
• Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)
• Demonstrated successful track record of meeting sales goals and quotas required
• Enthusiasm and belief about the role insurance and financial products play in peoples lives
• Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability and ethical behavior
• Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and listening
• Must be awesome at opening doors and getting appointments from a cold start
