The Lab Technician conducts laboratory and pilot-scale testing to evaluate equipment and process performance, accurately documents results, and prepares technical reports. This position also maintains laboratory equipment and supports field testing and equipment startup at customer locations while following established safety and testing procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Plan, set up, and conduct laboratory and pilot-scale tests; accurately record and analyze data and prepare clear, timely test reports
• Review Safety Data Sheets and customer information and specifications
• Plan, develop, and review test procedures
• Set up and conduct lab tests and record data
• Inspect and calibrate laboratory instruments to support accurate and reliable test results
• Follow laboratory safety procedures, including the proper handling, labeling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and test materials
• Support the development and continuous improvement of laboratory procedures, work instructions, and testing protocols

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree in engineering technology, chemistry, environmental science, or a related technical discipline; equivalent laboratory or industrial experience may be considered
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and unit conversions
• Communicate technical information clearly through written reports and verbal discussions
• Possess excellent presentation skills
• Possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Act as an effective problem solver and make sound decisions
