Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and willing to relocate if out of state. Floating between facilities may be required. If you're someone who takes pride in safety, precision, and staying current with medical advancements, we'd love to connect with you.Nuclear Medicine Tech Summary of Job Responsibilities:Interview, educate, and ensure patient comfort during imaging procedures.Administer radioactive materials, monitor for adverse reactions, and ensure patient safety.Operate and calibrate imaging equipment, position patients, and acquire quality images.Perform routine tests on imaging equipment and maintain radiation safety compliance.Maintain accurate patient records, including administered doses and imaging protocols.Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection control measures to ensure a safe environment.Stay updated on nuclear medicine advancements and pursue continuing education.Ensure adherence to CA DPH regulations, maintain licensures, and participate in required training.Qualifications:Certification from a recognized accrediting body, such as the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (N) OR the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).CA DPH RT State LicenseVenipuncture and Fluoroscopy CertificationMust be authorized to work in the United StatesMust be willing to relocate (out-of-state candidates)1+ year of experience preferredProof of Continuing Education Units (CEU's) if applicableCurrent CPR Card issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red CrossMust have proof of MMR, Varicella vaccinations or titers.Proof of TB/PPD or Chest X-ray within the past 12 MonthsCurrent Annual Health ClearanceReliable source of transportationMust be available weekendsQuality Temp Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity in the workplace.
