Pediatric Respiratory Therapist
This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift: 3x12 Nights (19:00 - 07:30) with weekend coverage every other weekend (subject to change based on need).
We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Respiratory Therapist to provide care in various pediatric settings, including PICU, NICU, ER, and Acute Care. The ideal candidate must possess strong clinical skills, have at least one year of experience with the EPIC electronic medical records system, and be prepared to float as necessary across different units.
Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients in diverse clinical settings.
- Utilize equipment such as aerosol setup, high flow nasal cannula, and bag-mask ventilation.
- Monitor patients' respiratory status and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current South Carolina RRT license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
- At least 1 year of experience in pediatric respiratory therapy.
- Proficient in EPIC charting system.
