Practice Setting
Inpatient diagnostic radiology coverage.
Support includes techs and residents.
Patient ages range from 0 to 105.
Volume expectations include plain film about 250 to 350 per day, or mixed workload around 50 wRVU per day.
Schedule
Weekday coverage is Monday through Friday.
Weekend coverage may be needed if covering the ER.
Flexible shift structuring is available, including options to read backlog during later hours.
Coverage need is ongoing, approximately 2 weeks per month, can be split between two physicians or arranged in block schedules.
Cases and Procedures
UGI and esophagram.
VCUG and HSG.
Fluoroscopy is optional, not required.
Requirements
Must be an MD or DO.
Diagnostic Radiology board certified, or board eligible within 5 years.
California license required, they will not wait for a license.
