The Construction Administrative Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing and supporting infrastructure construction projects. This position works within medium-sized teams (6-15 members) to ensure smooth project execution through effective coordination, documentation control, and communication. The coordinator facilitates contract administration, permitting, schedules, inspections, meetings, and reporting, contributing to timely and organized project delivery without the need for travel.

 

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities and assist in managing infrastructure construction projects
• Manage and organize project documentation using tools such as Bluebeam, MS Word, and MS Excel
• Support scheduling efforts to maintain project timelines
• Serve as a communication liaison among team members and stakeholders
• Assist with contract administration tasks
• Coordinate and prepare for project meetings
• Compile and prepare project reports
• Submitting and Overseeing the process of all permits at the start of projects
• Work with multiple municipalities for permitting and inspections

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in construction project coordination
• Familiarity with construction project management processes
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Bluebeam
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Effective time management and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to collaborate well within a team environment
