Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced EP Tech to support the Electrophysiology Lab in providing advanced cardiac procedures for adult to geriatric patients. The role requires expertise in EP procedures, instrumentation, and patient care within a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and troubleshoot cardiac electrophysiology and catheterization lab equipment effectively.
• Assist physicians during complex EP procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency.
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols throughout procedures.
• Prepare and manage supplies using system platforms like Epic and Pyxis.
• Document procedural details accurately and timely in electronic medical records.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience as an EP Tech or in a similar cardiovascular lab setting.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, and ARRT R or CCI RCIS or CCI RCES certifications.
• Experience working with adult to geriatric patient populations.
• Strong knowledge of EP lab procedures, equipment, and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and handle on-call responsibilities.
