Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse Location: Not specified. This position involves providing specialized critical care to adult and geriatric patients in a general intensive care unit setting. The role requires managing complex patient conditions such as sepsis, respiratory failure, and multi-system organ failure, utilizing advanced monitoring and life support equipment.

Job Details

• Position Description: Responsible for delivering high-acuity care in a general ICU environment, managing patients with severe and complex conditions including respiratory failure, post-cardiac arrest, and sepsis.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Compact State License; 1.5 years of ICU experience; certifications in ACLS, NIHSS; skills in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management, ABG interpretation, PPE protocols, and specialized ICU procedures.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, a minimum of 36 hours per week, beginning 11/16/2026 and ending 02/15/2027.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have at least 1 year of ICU experience and be willing to float as needed. Prior work at a Providence facility, references from the last three years, and inclusion of all required documentation during submission are mandatory.
