Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking an experienced welder for a full-time, onsite opportunity. This hands-on role will support industrial fabrication work using GMAW and SMAW welding processes.
Schedule 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
Key Requirements
Must be able to pass a 3G welding test using GMAW Must be able to pass a 2G welding test using SMAW
Responsibilities
- Perform welding on various materials, parts, and fabricated components
- Use GMAW and SMAW welding processes to complete work to required specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Inspect completed welds for accuracy, quality, and consistency
- Follow safety procedures and use proper PPE at all times
- Work independently and with team members to meet production needs
Qualifications
- Prior welding experience using GMAW and SMAW processes
- Ability to pass required welding tests before starting
- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to understand basic welding symbols, drawings, and specifications
- Knowledge of welding safety practices
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
