Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center boasts a supportive and friendly atmosphere where staff and patients thrive. With a caseload of one patient per hour, our therapists are afforded the time and resources necessary to focus deeply on each individual's recovery journey. The standard work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Marshall Movement, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to establish personalized treatment goals based on individual needs and physical capabilities.
• Implement evidence-based therapies, including exercises, stretches, and manual techniques tailored to support each patient's long-term recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on effective home-based care strategies to reinforce therapeutic goals and enhance recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate and communicate with multidisciplinary team members, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to deliver cohesive, comprehensive care.
• Maintain detailed, accurate patient documentation using electronic medical record (EMR) systems to track progress and inform treatment adjustments.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adults and seniors recovering from various musculoskeletal injuries, surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain syndromes. Understanding the complexities of age-related conditions, our focus remains on restoring mobility and enhancing the quality of life for all patients.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• A current physical therapy license in the state of Michigan.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; candidates with a Master's degree (MS) or Doctorate (DPT) are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to efficiently manage patient caseloads.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome applications from new graduates, candidates with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in outpatient physical therapy, particularly those familiar with manual therapy techniques, will be prioritized.

Compensation and Benefits
